Dr. Parrish

Dr. Parrish grew up in Monticello, FL and earned both her Bachelor of Science and Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degrees from Auburn University. Following graduation in 2017, she sought further training through a one year emergency focused small animal rotating internship.

Over the next seven years, she worked first as an emergency veterinarian/hospitalist at a veterinary specialty center in Arizona, then as an overnight emergency veterinarian at a small emergency clinic in rural Georgia, and most recently as a professor of practice for small animal emergency medicine at her alma mater, Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine. A military move with her U.S Army partner brought her to Alaska to join North Pole Veterinary Hospital in October 2025.

Dr. Parrish loves the variety of veterinary medicine, but particularly enjoys stabilizing emergency and trauma patients, diagnostic puzzles, teaching future veterinarians, and helping pet parents understand the sometimes daunting world of their pet’s health.

Outside of the clinic, she and her partner have have one angelic dog, Char, and one naughty but snuggly cat, Spark. She enjoys hiking, gardening, and beekeeping but is hoping to find some winter activities to add to the list!
