About Dr. Bentley Richards
Dr. Richards was born in Seattle and grew up in Southern California. She earned her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine with honors in Dermatology in 2015. She especially likes working with patients involving preventative medicine, dermatology, pain management, and behavioral issues. Dr. Richards has worked at veterinary hospitals in Virginia and Florida.
Dr. Richards moved to Alaska in 2019 as the 7th and final state in an Air Force adventure with her husband, a retired pilot, and two daughters. They have two Bernese Mountain dogs (Bunsen and Beaker), a particularly horrible cat (Tacocat), and a horse (Nimbus) to keep things lively. In her free time Dr. Richards enjoys time with her family, exploring Alaska, camping, biking on her Peloton, horseback riding, hiking, 4-wheeling, and snow machining.
Dr. Richards loves working at North Pole Veterinary Hospital because of the deep pool of talent that is offered in its diverse group of doctors and the caring and devoted staff. She is so happy to be part of the incredible, supportive team there and loves working with the best clients in the country.
