Dr. Alea Robinson

Dr. Alea Robinson was born in Bethel, AK, and raised in Eagle River, AK. She left Alaska to attend St. Lawrence University in Canton, NY, and obtained Bachelor of Science degrees in Biology and Psychology.

After her undergraduate studies, Dr. Robinson returned to Alaska, where she worked for Alaska Department of Fish and Game and Alaska Children’s Heart Center for a few years before applying to veterinary school. She graduated from the combined veterinary program between the University of Alaska Fairbanks and Colorado State University in 2024.

Dr. Robinson enjoys all aspects of veterinary medicine but is especially interested in small animal preventative medicine, soft tissue surgery, urgent care/ER, and rural outreach.

Outside of veterinary medicine, Dr. Robinson loves exploring the outdoors with her partner, two house dogs, and sled dogs. She enjoys dog mushing, skijoring, hiking, mountain biking, snowboarding, XC skiing, reading, and gardening.
